the cheapest good one is $10 for usage white laptop. (cd with program in the box) elm327 (no-can bu cars, just old OBD2) of ebay, even cheaper, prices.
my favorite in hand held is Innova 3160. huge coverage even air bags and ABS. does all OBD2 can-bus cars, new. to present. 1996 to now coverage.
the older cars need this.
