Two questions. 1 is there an interchange database website that allows you to do interchanges on parts for vehicles and tells you what the interchange vehicles are ..not just where to buy them

NEW OR USED, OEM or after market pumps,. new or used>
which engine?   J20, H25/?   4 banger DOHC or the V6.
btw it is chevy tracker not GEO, they dropped the name in 1998.   IS this why you can not find parts?

USED parts?
most top (USA) auto dismantle-ers (wreckers, bone yards) have  this software  called Holland something that covers all auto parts, substitutions, (exchanges is the wrong word)
but is not sold to gen. public, this softhearted.

I guess you are far far away from any good autostore, like NAPA or Advanced Auto, or O-rillies.
nobody wants to sell used fuel pumps as they will fail soon, so do not like selling them nor are they easy to test, and a danger playing with gasoline.(risk huge and lots of wrong pumps to sell)
unless you go to ebay where the sell vast broken used things there.

why not just use ROCKAUTO.com  

some makers of pumps do have  , a page on their web site that shows all 1 pump fits, as does clicking bosch p/n below.

fuel pumps are tricky, (even more so needing the full RAIL)
the must do the correct GPM, gallons per minute, pressure and shuNt pressure and If the GPM is too high it blows the FPR out of the water I mean, over loads that thing and it jams open.
AND VARIES BY TANK GALLON SIZE AND ITS DEPTH.

THAT MEANS DO NOT USE THE J20 PUMP ON THE H25 ENGINE, (as gen rule)

MY SUZUKI PARTS LIST (RARE TO FIND NOW) SHOWS, THE VITARA AND GV RAN 3 PUMPS IN 2002 AND CHANGED AGAIN IN 2003. I have no such GM list.

WHY NOT JUST SHOP AND BUY A CHEVY 2002 PUMP AT ANY PARTS STORE.?

now about makers of pumps,  try to know that each maker does not want to make 100,000 pumps.
that be silly so what do they do they in fact engineer 1 pump to fit many cars and in fact do.

so known that one fact, you know not to ever cross substitute one brand to another brand.

the J20  and H25 pump at bosch are the same pump,  I will not try to look up all other 20 makers seen above and more. like what autozoned sells.


69496 (this is my best choice on a pump) some are so quiet it can not be heard to run. BOSCH.

each makers has there OWN cross list. do not do DOUBLE CROSSES ! maker to maker or fail you will.

what I do is decide how good a pump I want, first. answer is BOSCH,
then read their catalogs here. below.
find it , and number
then shop for best deals by number.

pumps are sold with strainer with out or with whole rack or even just the rack only.

dropping tank is no fun, and only want to do it once, go good brand pumps.

the pump is fuel cooled and lubricated so do not run it dry. FYI

there is no GM nor SUZUKI actual parts # , subs lists.
how ever at SUzuki actual you can look up a number there, and it tells you all cars it made this 1 part fits, and I can to. like SUZ,15100-65D02 (~D70,or D10)
not saying I can cross gm to suzuki, for sure pumps. other parts easy, fuel pumps NEVER !
suzuki new page ended that good fetures, but my database shows only one car it fits at Suzuki, V6
At GM I see, it too shows only fits one car (year range ,99-02)

specra Premium makes very good radiators and pumps. but show 12 models or tracker, there, clicked, LT V6 version. SP1118 is hit.

the SP1118 has vast applcations, click that there and is near endless. but only on THEIR Exact PUMP.
