Hi everyone, this is my first time posting, appreciate any help as I am at a loss.
basically my 1996 Pontiac Sunrunner is only firing on 1 & 4 cylinder, this issue took a week to happen, so it was a slow inter mitten issue that is now full on.
The vehicle runs, but has barely any power, as it is only running on 2 cylinders.
Spark plugs, wires, distributor, MAP Sensor, and wiring harness all A+ and tested.
There is no pulse on injector 2 & 3 (the two middle ones)
Both injectors work on bench test, and I've even swapped them with the injectors from 1 and 4... no change.
I took the computer apart and inspected it, none of the caps are leaking, no corrosion, everything looks perfect and clean.
Still zero pulse going to injector 2 & 3.
Is there anything else I should check before trying to buy a new ECM?
I live off grid in the Yukon, and am currently cut off from any roads or civilization until the Yukon River freezes, so I'm trying my best to sort this out with what I have, I unfortunately don't have a code reader.
Thank you
