Mine I think the po might had messed up with it.
There's an anecdotal dimensional description of that adjustment at the bottom of this Fixkick page:
https://fixkick.com/IDLE-AIR/screwed-again.html
Don't know how you'd get in there to measure it.
Don't know how that instruction works out, just turning that screw out running great.
you are not ever supposed to touch that screw from 1991 to 2020, same on J18. do not touch this screw.
that drawing there is of someone that did this bad act, and this is what the measurements look like on a 2nd Car UNMOLESTED.
DID YOU? TOUCH THAT SCREW. you need to tell that first.
if the TV valve is not at .0005 to 0.001" inch GAP, it is set wrong, (.025mm max)
let me explain the purpose of the gap clearly.
1: to be closed as much as POSSIBLE.
2: to not
JAM UP the TV into the bore when closed.
3: to prevent air flow closed.
4: the TB , iDLE bleed air screw is what sets DUTY CYCLE air flow not the TV, not ever, at idle, but only TV flows air unless you ACCELERATE with the right foot.
there is NO FACTORY DATA ON THIS.
why in the world mess with this screw. do tell. no clues yet.
