Was driving down the highway after doing the valves and timing belt, and the last thing I wanted to see was smoke coming from the front end. But that is what happened to me.
I pulled over and couldn't find any smoke anywhere inside the engine compartment, but when I went over to the left front tire, I could clearly smell metal on metal heat/burning.
I'm assuming I have a stuck brake caliper since I don't hear any bearing noises. I haven't tore it down yet since I'm fixing the fuel tank bar. Is this a common tracker issue on older vehicles?
