Hello
please help me I have this ecu and one ( Q102) a transistor ruined and the value can not be read Thanks ![]()
what year? what engine? in that Vitara , must be real old with raw EPROM like that. 27C256 )
and what INJECTOR blue connector pin does it go to Q102? , (ive never seen the blue conn. ecu) 1989 Vitara? the first year? I've never had the pleasure of tracing out an 89. it's not MPI engine , it TBI single injector engine. i see that clearly. our 8v uses these pair, if your Q 103 is marked on side, B1020 then your Q102 may be D1415 ( or opposite, look at 103 markings) oops non usa car

Hello thanks for reply
Q103 is marked B2422 ; Q101 = B1335 what year? 1996 what engine? 8v yes is Vitara ,TBI single injector engine (04-01-2014, 06:10 AM)fixkick Wrote: what year? what engine? in that Vitara , must be real old with raw EPROM like that. 27C256 )
just add the JAPAN prefix. 2S
Hello thanks for reply No USA spec; ECU, sure , its not OBD2 like ours, so is different. Q103 is marked B2422 ; Q101 = B1335 what year? 1996 what engine? 8v yes is Vitara ,TBI single injector engine 2sB2422 2SB1335 but the missing part, that will be hard to find. id just buy a used ECU, (as is) open lid and get the P/N off it. what is the ECU tag suffix P/N so others can learn what do to do... 33920 what suffix. ![]()

My ecu have this
![]()
very alien to me. this ECU, thanks for the photo ! my EPC lists that ECU as for the E34 Italy market. this alien, ecu uses the exact same injector as USA sidekicks 1991-95
find the injector pins (use a ohm meter set to low ohms, and beeper on for continuity checks) at the blue connector. do you know what blue pins are injector pins?, and if it has 1 pin or 2 pins? wired to the injector directly? or just 1. find that out. then trace the 1 pin or both to there respective transistors. 2SB1335 , is a PNP simple transistor. i dont think it's for any injector. 2SB2422, i can not find, it are you sure its correct number? is it really B242 ? looking at your 1st photo, I can see the ?????? transistor trace (left) to the diode clamp D114? but does it also connect to that huge white resistor on the left? see ???? see the E pin , emitter, does it wire to the 12vdc power pin? if yes, try the 2SB1020 for ????? spot key facts, 12vdc goes to which transistor. (of the pair wired to injector pins on blue connector) and what does that large left resistor (white brick) go to.? what we need to do first is find out which side of the injector blew up. low or high side. the continuity test from blue pins (inj) to both transistors will disclose this fact. (its not hard to do ) cheers Data: here are some japan transistor prefixes. 2SA.... (PNP) 2SB.... (PNP, power) 2SC.... (NPN and NPN HF power) 2SD.... (NPN, power) 2SJ.... (P channel FET)

thank you for your information and a detailed description
order of transistors and'll try I found this wiring diagram ![]()

wow that is super nice drawing.
my wild guess, 31 is injector? the colors match up. so A1 is hot driven injector, red and A14 is ground driven injector yellow. using a continuity test (ohmmeter) check for zero ohms from a1 and A14 TO ALL 3 PINS on your burned transistor pads. the one that beeps (0 ohms) tells us what transistor you need. so far so good, we peel the onion more... good luck. and ask any questions, none are bad.
