Heater box noise

1998 Tracker 4 Dr. My heater box just started to make a racket and it seems not to be the fan? Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

the heater, box has resistor blocked plugged in there
and some have ceramic coating on the coils. that drop , get i to fan and make noise
or the dampers are making noises. hold the lever on casing bay hand see if noise stopts
or use other lever on dash positions?
blower fan, came lose?
more just debris from above landing on fan?
