Fuel rail firewall side leaking gas?
#41
Too bad I did not take pics but last night I had already used a coarse roller type bit with the Dremel and left the hole thing in bare metal really rough. Afterwards I cleaned it. Now I'm looking for the best epoxy. BTW I ordered the part from suzuki, but it is back ordered for at least 2 days or so they say?

Cheers!!

good, and good luck on your repair, im crossing fingers it's all good.
the back order is because all old parts are in one of huge warehouses.
every order is 3 days from there, to dealer then to you more, days.
that is what i call the suzuki shuffle.
all we need is music.

BTW fuel damper was also sealed off with Quick Steel. I test ran the Kick and everything held up. Even more, the leak was detected performing the turn signal relay tests, cause every time i turned key on pump would run and right there is when I noticed the strong fuel odor. Knowing the problem was in that area, I saw live, fuel coming out when my son turned key on.
So today he turned on key several times but no leak so far, even after the test run. As soon as I get my new part then I'll be less concerned. Thanks for all your time.

That was the first order I gave her and my son (in case she misses it). Pull over a shut it off. Actually I called them about an hour ago and everything so far was OK. My Suzuki order is still in the waiting/processing status. I told them that the part about which concerns me is the "delay by a day or so". Thats means anytime, like next monday or next month!!

Ill let you know.

many times its like 3 +4 days, or as Christmas looms, can be 3+14 days USPS.

if you have customs things can get bad.
IMO , customs is a wild card. ever order from canada and get 10 days just for that ?

No customs for us from any US city so far. Yes Ive heard Canada is a couple of more days. The thing is Fedex was going to kill me (big $$$) if delivered all the way to PR. So it is being sent to my brothers in MIA and then on to me via USPS. So hopefully next. Today I ran the car and all seemed fine. Still crossing fingers until part gets here.

Hey Fix, damper arrived today and...it has the small bolt screwed in. Is this is suppose to be in or not? It came just like all the pictures you see online.

Here my pics.

my guess, it is the calibration screw.( or for a factory test port, no matter )
and for sure, not to be messed with, just like the screw on the ISC. and Throttle body bleed.
