Welcome !!!
did you try cranking in Neutral PRNDL lever to N.?
the key line is dead.
if battery terms are clean, and battery charged to 12.6vdc rested.
you can hot wire the (keys in pocket) the stater solenoid.

if this test passes, cranks fast, the starter ,battery and cables are all good. leaving just one cause, the key line is dead.
top reason is PRNDL failure. (or alarm hacks)
last is key switch. (due to complex fix, last)
or use a voltmeter to find it.

Yes, It starts with the bump of a screw driver across the starter post, and yes ot did start a few time in neutral & Park. Does the vehicle have a starter relay? if so where is it located? as every pic I look at it points to the silinoid for the relay, I thought a silynoid was a silynoid and a relay was a relay.
Thanks again for your help
