Fix one thing Now its another (Iratic Idle)

any input would be greatly appreciated,
starts up and then the idle goes from 1500 to 2000 then back down then back up, just keeps jumping erratically, Any Ideas???
Im leaning towards the Maf sensor EGR or Idle Control.

yes, but we can find them all. with a tad work.''
ok its a 16v MPI engine. the idle hunt means the ECU cant get idle to 800 spec. it just keeps trying.
it is not egr, for sure, that causes 400rpm or stalling.,
does cel light stay on, running? if yes , pull the flash codes.

up to all 3 throttle cables loose? throttle, transmission TV and cruise cables if opted.
is butterfly plate at TB bore ,packed in gunk ,keep ing throttle stuck open?

we can check the maf super easy with any voltmeter.
hot idle doing that.
is ISC not closing, sticks, its easy to clean. has 2 pin plug.
or the IAC under throttle body(thermal only) stuck open?
Tests:
to find this is easy pinch the ISC air line, hot, what is rpm now.?
see isc test here. pinch and idle must go to like 400 rpm or stall. this proves isc is not stuck open.
is rpm is way high still, screw i the bleed screw on top TB, under black plastic cap (removed)
still way too high?, then put clay in the TB IAC input port.
here. (put back big tube and test) idle ok hot now, yes, then check for water path blocked to iaC, (180f water)

one of these , a,b,c,d is leaking
for sure.
the engine can not run with out air.
