My 1995 1.6 16 valve Geo Tracker has a ticking noise from the evap canister purge valve when rpms are increased from idle speed. This happens once the engine gets warm and goes into closed loop. I checked the input from the ECU and it is showing that the signal is in fact on/off. Is this normal? If not what would cause this to happen. I have had the Tracker for over 8 years and have just noticed this recently.
