EGR Valve Probes still available?
#1
Fixkick,

If you purchase one of these EGR valves on Ebay, can you still buy the electrical probe for it? I haven't seen the probe sold.

most used probes are good. it just a resistor, and crude..
just take out the old one. (heat casing hot, then take it off it tight. (for 80 to 160 bucks , i even split the old casing, to free it.) the test is easy, for ohms.

sure they are available but very expensive

all 89-95 are same. pn usa, canada and Caribbean

What's the proper way to seal the probe to the egr valve? Should some sorta compound be used or should it be threaded in dry?
