Just an update, got the switch, you're right, there was a bit of a wait, but not bad. Put it in last week and of course it works perfectly.
The A/C in the Tracker is so cold it'll freeze you out after running for a while. It's been about a month since I recharged it, looks like it'll be ok.
Now if I could just keep the water out of the engine!
Head gasket, here we come (unless one of the core plugs I replaced in the head failed; I can only hope!).
