Turn signals out after smoke in combo switch
#59
as you know the switch is made by many companies. (suzuki dont make them) most parts in car electric are NOT suzuki at all, the ECU is Mitsubishi.etc.
and all work the same (black box, input/ output , load)
but inside, they can all be different. that is their call, the mechanics designed.
even different plastics, or anything at all, its called a design. (imagine the cost of diecast molds at $10,000 each.)
someone designs it with their ideas of what is right/best etc, and costs limits.

Denso not same as say, NEC or Mitsubishi or ? see?

one can put a transmission together only 1 way
and 1000 wrong ways. this is no magic. not at all, no mystery.
same with any thing. one way, works , all others dont' (take photos is my hint)
im not sure of your questions, the blinkers work what is the question exactly Im not sure.
Then thats white/green wire job,
my guess is the schematic is not clear? it shows how it works , well mostly.
did you look at the PDF? fully the 2 pages? pg 3/4

white-green is the power supply for Hazards.
my guess is the designer wanted hazards to work with blinker fuse blown, (it does) as a SAFETY Feature of the car. (a hope thing)
and look one more time, see that, the hazards work with your car keys in the pocket, one more safety feature, (you can turn them on, pocket the keys
and walk for help.
this is same on all cars, and same for head lights they too work with no keys, and again, for SAFETY.

see words "hot at all times" that means it goes to hood fuse box and hot all time fuse. to battery directly.
that to is covered in the previous PDF. below
backing up to my schemo page
see this,

this covers distribution.
see the hazard fuse there?
