also one more fact
today there are all these lubes that are different colors just to make them sell better, Gimmick.?
clear, amber, violet, red, and others.
the M/T dont over heat like A/T , the A/T has a clutch that loves to slip, , slipping , turns ENERGY to heat. (takes torque and wastes it to heat)
the A/T even states to the the stall test for 5 seconds max ,due to overheating it.
On big motor homes they have even more ATF coolers to stop this horrid heating effect.
non of this happens in a M/T the gears do not ever slip. nor the clutch.
the heat is so bad, and so fuel wasting, the newest cars have 9 gears in a A/T , and insane complexities.
The A./T eats power , at a stop light, in Drive. it just sit there burning HP. (pump uses power, and clutch drags)
