Looking for a working 2 channel Automotive Ocilloscope.
Anyone looking to sell (or even rent perhaps) something like a SnapOn Vantage Pro, or a PicoScope.
Or what have you.
Let me know.
a real scope is 400-to- 600v,(Tek) input limits. (use 10:1 probe for better scope protection from transients
.
when working on cars the car has huge noise spikes, on things like AC clutches and starter /solenoids. up to 200v inductive EMF kickbacks.
any lab scope works even old. Tek is tops.
learn by looking for a used scope on ebay, where ? else?
new scopes from china , super cheap (<$100) are just that pure junk in most cases, but do read the spec or ask others to help. after telling real model numbers.
an OWON DS7102v is good, new. have one I do, like it., 100mHZ and 400v inputs. safe for most things,
good luck, any used good 100mHz scope is good 1975's years up. (no tubes)
