I have 94 16valve vitara I have just put a lockright in the rear and under acceleration there is a wine that sounds like a gearbox but to me transfer case because its with all gears and gets louder with speed I have changed the oil when I done my clutch about 1-2 months ago I noticed a very slight noise under deceleration after the oil change but I think the new noise could of been there before diff just was paying more attention diff setup is all correct checked universals they are all good but noticed play up down left and right on input shaft to rear drive shaft could it be bearings in transfer case I used the recommended oil. any place for me to look or start I changed gearbox oil today but had no difference to noise.
