Fuel Tank Repair
#1
My 1995 Tracker has the fuel tank support bar rotted out like many I read about. It's now sitting on the skid plate. I'm going to have a welder fit a new bar and supports. My question is this, should I put everything back to a factory setup? Or, are there modifications you can make to install a larger tank etc? It appeared the tank was in good shape, but I couldn't really inspect the top of it properly.

Should I throw a new fuel pump in the tank while I have it out? I have 141k miles.

thanks,
John
