X90 window motors
#1
I had issues with my X90 passenger window not working and I thought I had it beat.  The old channel rubber was hard to pull along the edge of the window even when out of the channel. I changed it to a flocked type. Moves a lot easier now.
The R motor was dead when I got the car and I put in a Toyota motor to replace it. Toyota motor looks identical to Suzuki just need the Left one turned upside down to go on Suzuki Right side.  It strained to lift the window and I spent a lot of time troubleshooting it. It also died and at that time I changed the motor and rubber out.
The last few weeks I had to sometimes open and slam the door for the window to move. Once started, it will move under power until I leave it for a while. Getting worse so back to troubleshooting. Checks out electrically but motor gets hot and doesn't move the window. Is it possible I have a bad spot on the motor from bumping it to the physical stop ? Motor looks the same but may not be?  Suzuki only sells motor and regulator (not a cable type in these) as a unit and they are $$$$  Any suggestions?
