you can use the high end J plugs, like platinum tips,etc that are listed in the NGK plug catalog.
misfire can be many other things,
too rich
or FPR sticking close causing gross high fuel pressure and super rich running
do the (did) the old and new spark plug tips look black?

I cleared and checked ERG hoses. Then I removed and cleaned out the ERG valuve. I have started it and driven it twice and so far it has not started missing. Thanks for the expert advcice.
