it's and old car, all old cars with old seals, all go bad, it not abnormal. a-typical.
( take it apart and watch the seals turn to gram crackers as you touch them...) a learning experience. (or old and hard, )
no original factory cheap seal used, there runs at 250F temps for 20 years and not fail.
unless they are all upgraded to Viton, or other top performing seals.

some didnt exist 20 years ago ,but if did? they were way too expensive..
