Fixing the Shifting Issues

I contacted this kit supplier and he said that my transmission can have the main bearing of 65mm or 72mm. And that I have to measure it before ordering. Is there a way to tell exactly what bearing I need? By transmission number or something. It sounds hideous not to be able to tell what you need.

if you look here even GM has 2 different #8 bearing listed for tmy specific VIN model.
