97 sidekick instrument cluster - RGORILLA - 07-24-2021
looking for the whole cluster or just the speedo for a 16v automatic 97 sidekick. It's a 97 sidekick 16v automatic made in Canada with a 3L30 3 speed vin xxxxx6402301

and there are many models uses i 1 year.
is this USA MPH speedo, or KHM in Canada.
is car, 4wd, or 2wd./
G16, 1.6Liter SOHC not j18 1.8L DOHC SPORT.
4doors?
with tachometer meter (as seen i most 4wd)
3speed auto or 4speed auto.
with ABS or not ABS brakes.
as you can see many speedo \' exist,
in fact i can count them all. there are 17 heads. 11 USA and 6 Canadian.
1997, (engine size?) 4doors or 2, 4wd or 2? ABS or not.
first is getting the correct part number , before the hunt
they can be found on ebay. used, not sold new unless doing world wide search and get lucky.
my guess is the speedo needle twitches , is dead or makes noise? and a new cable did not fix it?
tell me more.
I had to buy 3 used heads and mix parts to get one fully working heat. so.... yah. a pain.
i made a page in 2007 shows all heads for sure the PDF there

what car is this, full spec,?
there are 17 speedo heads.
and more world wide but 17 is just North American (USA/CAN)
and sidekick is USA/CAN , but vitara outside usa.
or post you VIN with serial number at end , redacted, XXXXXXXX
Vin will not tell me if transmission is 3speed or 4speed, sadly
but tells body and engine.

if you went to Suzuki say in CALIF, the one still open for parts (or New Jersey)
they will not help you lacking a VIN for good reasons;
not selling you the wrong parts.
no lie clusters are the most complex part to buy on this car.
other other things is more variant than that. (maybe radios? if not stock sure)
lucky use no need to have axle gear changes (variants) as that happens at the end of the speedo cable only.
