the is the manual mode test, disconnect TCC conn. and drive manually, and road test the tranny, does it slip, do all gears work but 2nd, 2nd is skipped in this mode, same as when in limphome mode.

oil flter just above oil pan. if this clogs the pump cant suck ATF, if that happens oil pressure fall and trans fails to shaft or wrong or late ,etc. Servicing the trans every 50k works best. No matter what the liars say at the EPA. Tell them to sit and twrill on this, thumble held out. !

the ALDL (SDL) connector, has a TCM flash code jumper up to 1996. after that year only PCM scans can read DTC P07xx errors. (tranny errors) This ALDL is above your knees on the steering column. In 1997 they moved the TCM , to the inside confines of the PCM,(old ECU), ending flash codes for ever. and ever. This is SDL, suzuki data link conn. and the TCM

TCM flash codes used until end of 1996, then after, the PCM shows DTCs like p07xx. Starting in 1997, all scan tools made can scan the PCM and see the tranny new DTC codes. same time as the engine scans. (PCM scan)

a typical rebuild kit needs , all steels, friction plates, thrust washers all bushings and all organic seals. About $350 kit, and more if gears are bad.
