Guys I'm lost I have bought a 96 tracker that had a blown head gasket . Removed the head took to the machine shop to be checked , had to be milled for flatness. Got back home and new gaskets put back together . Lined up the timing marks on the timing belt . crankshaft mark at 12 o'clock on the oil pump arrow the camshaft mark "E" on the mark on the valve cover installed belt . lined up the dizzy on number 4. And attempted to start . all I get is soaked plugs and not one cylinder even attempts to fire .

Any ideas guys . new plugs and wires ... New crankshaft sensor . already .

ok , sorry for your trouble.
what's best is to do 2 things.
1: a compression test, to see if all that hard work even functions correctly 180PSI , W.O.T , sea level.
2: use spark timing light, see if spark lands near 0 TDC, at all. (or is spark dead )?

if those 2 checks show all is good, then you can run the engine on test fuel (spray) even with and empty gas tank.
proving all but the injection side is Okay.

i presumed you checked , the 3 fuses, IGcoil, FI and Dome , right?

Originally I had checked the compression and had none . Everyone I talked to said I had gotten a bad head gasket . I had ordered it online from some no name company . So I ordered a felpro and installed it . I haven't checked the compression since I installed the new one . If I don't have any compression this time . what could the problem be ?

Went and checked the compression again . found I had none . so I started looking and found that there is two letter E on the cam gear . one on the outer ring one at the bolt . I had been using the one on the outer like all of the directions had showed doing. But that doesn't work moved to the one by the bolt in the center which has the letter I on the outer ring and I have compression and it started and ran perfect .
