i wonder if it detects, propane, gas, as in R290 gas.
as many cars now use, so easy to get. lacking any r12,
r290 is just super clean propane.

good luck at best it's only 1/2 baked (in total) Sports are not well documented in the total.
the blue books thin are best, and good, on EFI and all electrics, , and engine controls
good luck finding them , did you find a suzuki dealer that has them in stock>?

Hi, the 1996 Sidekick 1600 / X-90 Service Manual (99500-60A50-33E) have finally arrived. It is two books, volume 1 and volume 2 and very thick. That is why they are expensive. I have a chance due to my work schedule to go through them both. What I found they are really different from the 1996 Tracker book!

Now, I have a complet set for my Sport.

real suzuki books are very different and 10x less errors.
and cover testing parts, 10x better
and the books are like about 1hr, shop labor in USA>
and that makes them free, the first hour of labor you save.
The trackers never made, the sport but, there are good facts in the free book, not related to engine. lots. and is free.
nice work finding very very hard books to find.
they sold very few of these cars, tiny numbers.
most guys just buy a book when needed based on a problem at hand, say brakes, they get the book that covers brakes, then if next time, its say the engine, then the engine suppliment.
but no me. I want them all.
when I buy a new car (no ever again) i never do so unless the salesman gives me a free shop manual,, they balk, I walk.
Good luck with your sport, and be aware the J18 uses j20 parts.

The body work, suspension and brakes are all in the SV418 supplementary. Additional information for removal and installation can be found in the SE416/SZ416 Service Manuals.
