off topic but Suzuki SX4 or Subaru???
#1
I been a SUZUKI fan forever.. MANY MANY MOTORCYCLES even now a '82 GS650, but in '73 I got a new Subaru GL.. then another in '74 and a 4x4 wagon in '79..then over the years had 3 or 4 more used ones up until '97 when the dealership I worked at stopped selling Subarus.
fast forward to today. I'm looking for a 'newer' sunday driver 4x4 and like the Suzuki SX4 4x4 but love the subaru "SOUND" of their engine with a slightly loud muffler..there's no inline 4 that can sound that good you know???
any insight as to the newer subies versus the suzuki stuff???? I don't care that they were dum enough to stop selling Suzukis here.. they should have spent a few bucks ADVERTISING eh?

my first was new 1966 x6 Suzuki 250 hustler. and many more. many honda's ,
the 2door sidekicks are the best off road. 2000 lb, weight is a killer offroad. (same with Samurai. very popular off road.)
the old subaru's my feet don't even fit under the dash, cant drive one. well and and not kill folks on the side walk.

their , 4wd Vitara , was too small, Americans want big iron so ,,,,, they are gone here and Canada, and they say some places in Europe have low sales too.

I really liked my 91 suzuki best. 8v, 2door, 5sp. (rock reliable to a fault once new caps in ECU)

my tracker is same as you kick.. '91 2 door 5 speed 8 valve.. dunno about the ecm, I wanted to look at it but have NOT YET and see if it has been repaired or what, but i never misses a beat!! if it is original, maybe a record for the electrolytics??
i do like little cars, and the SX4 seems cute!!! and it is a ZUKI....
