Hi guys
I have a 1992 geo tracker, 8 valve tbi, 4WD, 5 speed.
Trying to dial in my idle and timing correctly.
Everything seems good so far, but on Kick's page it states that is the power steering pump switch is faulty or improperly grounded, this can throw off idle speed and ultimately timing (since I'm using a timing light at 800rpm, hot).
On my tracker - my power steering belt has been removed because my PS gearbox is leaking. So the PS switch cable that usually plugs into the PS belt drive is also disconnected.
Should I keep the switch / cable disconnected since my belt is removed? Would this throw off my idle speeds?
