the sport and J18s are very rare cars. in N.America.
super rare. i watch for them on the road, and not one seen here, in 5 years. rare.
the production numbers were even worse here.
i only know of one person with sport and is 2500 miles away and moved.
suzuki is the only place on earth that sells this, as are many sport parts. (hope wrong)
16910-77e02 (e05 revision) $17 bucks.
I also heard that SX4 and Ario also use the same stick.

what year, sx4?
the JB420w GV car was first to use this stick, (outside usa) up up to 2004
our early J20A used it , Vitara or grand.
the first J18 was 1996.
J20A in usa was first in 1999. (Vitara)
the first J20B way later, and used in SX4 (USA) B is gen 2 engines. and some have VVT. (2006 build and newer)
16910-77e02 (e05 revised) J18 stick. (the online suzuki page, shows 1999 J20 vitara same stick. E05. up to 2003 and after that the suzuki site goes (wrong)
the sx4 usa j20b uses this dip stick (that 80 is key cha)

as you can see the p/n is radical different. and usually means big differences. it fits a 80J class engine only
for $17 , why guess? having both in hand, to check would be very hard to do.
the only better way is use Hollanders. data base.
but id bet it dont do dip sticks (under their radar ?)

Anyway, my idea is that I will use the dipstick from other cars, rather than Suzuki if I know the exact length from the top rubber seal to the upper level hole because this length is very important. I found the dipstick from the Toyota camry and the top rubber seal really fits the Sport's hole. It is much shorter than the Sport's dipstick but it still has some spaces to mark the upper level hole.

you could find 100s of cars in the wrecker that fit.
but nobody on earth has done that, it takes , huge efforts.
it's just a stick but...
it must be x long
and must stop at the right point (top rubber, stop)
it must also seal up right and not suck in dirt , as it surely will if the seal fails. (PCV sucks,so....)
and the marks must be right. but one could remark them.. .sure.
My first G16 had the wrong stick, (find it at first oil change, day1)
its hit the trash can fast.
over filling an engine can be very bad... causing oil foam up.

I think the top rubber is really fit well, so it is already solved.
I also know the total amount of engine oil for the Sport is 5.2 liters when the filter is changed. So it is already solved.
The only problem that needs to be solved now is the exact length from the top rubber seal to the upper level hole for periodical checking the level only!!!!
It is already more than 20 years old car why should I always invest too much on it?

finding some one with a J18 car is not easy.
and a ruler....handy...
good luck finding a matching car owner,
if you search all car forums, for J18 sports, then pm them 1 by 1, and asking them to ruler it.? or the J18 Esteems?
or drain it fill it precision measure.
and calibrate it by hand? then glue it down?
