Hello and Wheels
#1
I'm glad this forum exists. I'm new to Suzuki...finally found an 1998 X-90. Loved these cars since they were new but never had a chance to own one until now.

It needs tires so i was thinking of replacing the wheels at the same time. I can't find a definitive answer online...will Sidekick wheels of the same year fit? Or are there any other vehicles that have the same bolt pattern that will work. The options from places like tirerack.com are limited when searching just by X-90, so i'm hoping that some other vehicle's wheels would be the same.

Thanks!

Looks like X-90 is 5x5.5 just like Trackers and Sidekicks. Wheel sizes can be tricky because you have to look not only for bolt pattern but also for backspace. Meaning that a rim may fit the bolt pattern but it could cause rubbing or contact the brake calipers if the backspace is not right. You also have to watch for the center bore.

Sidekick wheels will fit your X-90 just fine but if you want to upgrade or use wheels from other make/models you have to watch out for all those things.

Thanks for the response. I've been having some difficulty finding a set of wheels that i'll be happy with. They're always going to be 8 inches or wider, which is too wide for my tastes. Orrrr....i'll have to go up to 16" which is not good for me. Weird that there are so few options out there. So i'll keep what i've got and just put some new tires on.

Thanks for the help...

I like the look of the different styles stock rims, some people just powder coat them or paint them to get a more upgraded look. Either way, as long as they work, are safe and you like them, that's all that matters. I have 15x8's on mine with 235/75R15's and they rub a little bit when I turn all the way, very annoying.
