this site is not a materials engineering web page or forum , it's a car repair forum.
in fact we can discuss, any car, any year, the basics , all apply. (petrol/gas)

if you do want to ask a question about 1 material , do ask,
but cant answer for Plastic, only, its Plastic. (the receipt is a SUZ secret)
may of the parts made in plastic are not up to actual real life , exposure, like parked outside for a weak in Pheonix in 125F heat (outside) inside 180F
that is because suzuki didnt test it.
this is nothing new, ever seen a car with the dash split down the middle, bingo, poor engineering.
