Alrighty here goes. i recently acquired a 95 geo tracker 1.6 8v and need it to pass emmissions.The big three gas numbers are reading at ;
Hc-2.53 of 1.6 gpm applicable standard
C0-59.16 of 20.00
nox- 1.36 of 3.00
have gone through the whole egr system and cleared all carbon/verified egr system operational(passed the bark and stall test after a good soak and carbon cleaning). no codes in ecm. replaced the pcv and have timing set to 10 degrees btdc. new plugs and wires as well. The egr thermoprobe is working now (10k ohm resistor made sure of that). Kind of at a loss of what to look for next.Would like to be able to see some data but the 5 scan tools ive tried can only access codes. The speedometer needle bounces a tiny bit until 25 mph. ive heard the vss can have an affect on the afr but unsure if that is causing it to run this rich. drives great, doesnt seem like its in limphome mode and has plenty of pep
