when you pull the vac line to any 16v FPR
the fuel pressure, jumps about 1/2 an atomoshere, about 6psi
the same as WOT throttle, with full 43 psi max max pressures
it is clue to fuel pressures, dead wrong.
or injector packed/ or filter packed up.
i guess the mechanic did not do a filter change out
nor clean the injectors on car? best is sent to pro shop, for injector cleanout (ultrasonic)

this car is very hard to fix,due to the fact no overthecounter scan tools sold
one guy in one shop bragged, i can scan your 93, with my mighty $10,000 scan tool
no you cant, he tired,,and saw, no cant. its not on the list, sure 1996+ hell all do that.
so to fix a vitara, true name one has to do all tests manually with DMM meter.
code 12 means no broken sensor wires, only that. (cept code 51 and up)
takes patience, and i can show you each tests
first test, what is ECT ohms, hot engine, key off, connector off, DMM ohms mode ect 2pins
300ohms is correct.about, and at room temp,,2500ohms
that ends test 1.
