89 8v tbi tracker cranks no start code 41

I acquired an 89 tracker a while back that "just needed a fuel pump" right... Well I've replaced most of the fuel system have worked over the electric, and still havnt gotten it to run. It throws code 41 when cranking, but it has spark and will run with test fuel in tb. I chased through finally came to ecm (an 60a) pulled it apart had bad caps very little damage so I replaced all caps and one resistor that was corroded. Replaced and still have no injection (checked with noid) still have good spark still will crank and run with test fuel. What else could be the cause of the 41 code?

every one like that ive seen and touched, need 10 things wrong, its really very old. 27yo.
next time you see a car on the road running this old , cheer, its rare. (or pat your self on the back , way to go !)

41 means spark is bad.
but needs to be explained, it means, and can be spark is great, but the suppressor fell off.
41 means only that wire a1 fell off.
41 code also kills injections by law. no crash and burn as seen on TV.
on your car the distributor makes all spark and ECU does fuel only, the ECU must monitor spark, only, and if gone kills fuel in 1/10th of a second.

whats more>
the tachometer can short.
and kill A1
the cruise control box can short and kill A1. if fitted
the tacho red/blue or the feed wire brown can not shout to ground.


the ecu never lies, 41s are it.
a fix 41s first rule.

on mine the supressor is here, its size of pregnant postage stamp, 1/4" thick

the real name is noise suppressor , tachometer drive signal and spark read back for ECU.
it does 3 things, in such a tiny package.
and never burns out. ever.
only falls off, and the game ends, NO GO.

Thanks the noise suppressor had fallen under the air box. Was still there but clip was broken fixed traced wires. Geo now cranks but is surging wildly while sitting at an idle
