Clutch Release Shaft
#21
When replacing the clutch, I will also replace the pilot bearing (since a clutch kit includes one) - this pilot bearing is in the flywheel
- you mentioned inspecting the tranny pilot shaft bearing and seal - this is a different bearing, correct?
I was going to get this clutch kit from RockAuto:

Then this would be the tranny pilot shaft bearing you suggested I replace?

And the seal?

Going to order all these soon (in addition to the order from megazip i mnetioned earlier)

Cheers

THE FRONT OF the transmission has pilot shaft in to the box, that bearing is checked first, by hand moving the shaft side to side to see if the front top main shaft pilot shaft has play.
this is only a tranny check not clutch.
