I wish I had have pulled off the FPR vac hose back in December...

Anyway, I have a good running 97' I can pull the FPR off, but likeyou mentioned its old and failures are likely. Is there a preferred aftermarket part anyone can recommend to replace it?

seem like all G16b engines are all doing this now;
its at the end of there life.
all that fixes, every time your toe (right) moves so does it,
end of life
we check fuel pressure first, when engine runs rich, and sensors scan ok (o2 will read wrong but its not 02, its only reporting TRUTH here)

the ECU is helpless to see pressure wrong, (un like new cars)

Some FPR are far worse, they stick inside, while driving, only a remote fuel pressure gauge finds this, driving..
that is way some just replace it and guess, due to the hard nature of failures... possible.
some get this grove inside that causes jamming, randomly.. sux too... that...

glad you found a leaker. cracked diaphragm

I know the Suzuki dealer here is going to want a small fortune for this, and I know the one on my 97 is probably good but I want piece of mind. Do you have a recommendation? I was thinking about getting this one. Has 5 year/50,000 warranty so that can't be a bad sign.

SMP is a #1 top maker here, of aftermarket parts, huge sales. great stock to own .
aka BWD , in Canada.

rockauto does, and shows them all,

You think that alcohol in the fuel may have something to do with all the fuel pressure regulator failures?
