I will bet either the IAC and ISC are bad, or the water paths are blocked.
Thermostat gasket is on the way, too.
You're the best, fixkick.

thanks you are too kind
I do hope, is just lack of hot water,
but its not the bogging cause. just high idle.
unless the rich fuel , caused bad spark plugs,
you didnt get DTC P03xx codes so i think the bogging is not misfire do to rich misfire, i think fuel pressure, might be low.
did this car have bad fuel before? all this started?

Fuel pressure might be low. I'll check it soon.
I put a new gasket on the IAC and ISC. It holds 800 when the IAC hole at TB is covered with tape.

fixkick, I have not given up.
I am stalled however, as the car overheated on a test drive yesterday.
I might just end up doing a complete engine tear-down, and just do everything fresh.
Cheers!

sorry forgot all the list of change outs.
must be bad water pump, all else is new, cap and thermostat.
may be the impeller has rust rot?
did it overheat moving fast
or parked. or at lights.
if at stop lights, check fan clutch, its tricky how that thing works, rpm based too.

Overheated up a big mountain. I ran some block sealer in it to keep me going temporarily, but I'm gonna be doing an entire engine tear down it looks like.
I'll let you know how that goes.

No water in oil pan, but the sealer blew already.
Looks like it's gonna have to happen.
I'm gonna run a compression check, as well as a cooling pressure system test.
But either way I'm gonna buy a complete seal kit for the motor and go to town on that.
