yes the Rubicon caps fail, all do. (did) i saw one that did not. a new one sitting in new box, on the shelf for 20 year.
they just dry outside,
the fails the capacitance test, and ESR test, hard failures
that corner large cap , bad,will cause the ECU processor to reboot over and over, as the 5v regulator drops out. The cap there must be good.
and yes, the ugly ones, with acid damage are obvious, but not all do that, some just dry put, or split the case on the cap.
60A91 CAN-MT
60a is early side kick ECU , , the A ,ecu is no spark ecu, ecu creates no spark only fuels engine.
Can -= for Canada smog regs. (ours is US marked) or CA for California.
MT is manual trans.
