coolant flow to ISC and IAC
#17
and we do not have that manifold here state side.
that is the electric EGR, and is use on many cars world wide but not here until 1999. (the year vacuum died, a blessing)
nice photos and is confusing,
(my problem not yours for sure)
my gosh you do have mono port egr plenum box, and the side winder feeds it.
ok so the intake. manifold uses the head, tunnel (EGR) and sends this egr path (left side of manifold driver perspective.)
then to the EGR main (electr)
then the same manifold (drillings all ) to the side winder and up to our monoport.

where does the ive no idea hose go? ill look that up for you in the data base

but you refuse the country questions
which forces me to read all SE416 pagers in say over 30 markets.
that is no fun for me. at all.

why not read this an say what is your 24 code, the data base this is question 1, after, country,
lots of G16 world wide, huge. variances in fueling ,spark and manfolds and egr.

my side it USA only, (and some canada)
it does not cover, type1,2,3 engine G16b in say Europe , or Santana's from spain.
but have the catalog on all.

wide guess for now, the id dont know hose is the brake booster, if you just follow any hose the end point is bingo , like booster.

vsig (make a signature?)_
98 vitara jlx 4door, unknown transmission , 2wd or 4?, G16b, with market code EGR xxx?

the sidewinder is superior technology, vastly easier to clean a mono ported EGR,
the other end, not. so easy and a pain on all G16
you can do the bark test easy on the electric egr.

ok looked and EU cars.
market 2, 17, 22, ,54 have this, (UK,Sweden,Germany, and Israel) (first type class found looking)
and the top plenum box does not unbolt from the runners an clear marked uniqueness there.

so the drawings on page match for.
head tunnel and #4 exhaust port
http://www.fixkick.com/sensors/EGR/97-cl...age_8.html
and the intake flange S bend
http://www.fixkick.com/sensors/EGR/97-cl...age_2.html

and this
the mono port (5 to 7mm hole
http://www.fixkick.com/sensors/EGR/97-cl...age_1.html

so is same paths but only valve is unique.
so my bark tests all work (at MAIN)

so here it is again revised.

1: remove the egr main.
2: the right port is vacuum , put a cork there now, block vacuum.
3: start engine here that open left whole bark>
loud PUTTS.

that is bark test 1.
if it fails to bark that path is blocked,
left means drivers perspective sitting in drivers seat.

the clean the vacuum port to the lower side winder
then the side winder clean
and last the mono port clean, blow air there and make the free and clean , carbon below 3mm restrictions are bad.

your valve is 77e00 valve same as the 1996,j18 engine , first engine with this, 77e really means j18 first usage, i think.

if the S bend packs too bad, the intake must be removed
and in some case the welsh plug pullled
seen here mid S point center

again
got this?

see that 24, what is YOUR 24? this is the market code and parts vary by MARKET.
