coolant flow to ISC and IAC
#13
some cars do have the right knee 16pin
called OBD1.5
and works with OBD2 with an adaptor cable, (no car here has this , trick)
you mean code 12s, but on this car , many cars the EGR is never tested.
but looking every time is a win.

our OBD1 runs a DTC 51 monitor. if it fails it sets code 51
most outer countries dont have the monitor at all, he ECU runs it blind as a bat.
in the usa this is illegal the clean air act mandated that test. outside usa this old, there is no test.(by and large...)

but to prove that drive with it unplugged (EGR) omg, what if it opens unplugged, (im not a egr electric savvy guy, like I am on vacuum junk here.)
ok got one idea , that will work (getting old sux)

make a gasket that blocks it , if no DTCs driving, then it's a blind system. (even a breakfast cereal box lid (cut up) for a gasket and 20 min drive.)

on newer cars outside usa, this is monitor was cloned (we invented OBD2 here), for example the EU rules now are more strict and you have EOBD ECu /PCM that run P0400 tests. 2 tests. driving , like ours.
one for cruise; one for deceleration. test. 400a and 400b tests.

this car below is "not supported", last line ( a 1996 first year made )

sorry so confusing , 100 markets and many are very different, some have no EGR at all. (JDR cars)

we have cars that pass smog here, with just CEL lamp out.Drive in and out fast) the reason VW lies were not discovered. (and zero loop tests, track tests)
