Beck Arnley 051-3962 Bearing    is the NON SEALED GREASEABLE bearing. -- THE ONE TO USE

Beck Arnley 0513962 Bearing   is a SEALED NON GREASABLE bearing.   (wow just  wow)

Apparently the DASH does make a difference. (

Federal Mogul is sending me Beck Arnley 051-3962 Bearing  via FEDEX so I should have it soon and I submitted a return of the Beck Arnley 0513962 Bearing  to Amazon.

So I will have 2 of the right bearings after all.   I have spare hubs assembly so I will make one up and keep it to have a spare. (very wise that and hubs are very rare new, old YMMV)

What an interesting scenario.

wow the case of the missing dash,  never seen anything like that ever.

amazon shows photo of plastic blocked bearing with dash./ )sure bad photos;.
the maker with preGreased bearing not stating grease spec, is silly.  to a fault that. Right now lots of grease is crap. (EPA jive ) (my guess is China grease whats there that week)

rock shows the grease-able with no dash. (more bad photos stock ?)

ahhhhhhh Federal Mogul bought out BECK in 2016 ,   ,so they own now National name (1955 buy) and Beck 2016 buyout.  sure.
but we all know most stores show stock photos or old, or just wrong. endless. that.

the beck catalog online  does not show non dash part so that is wrong there and is THEM (OEM maker messing that up)
0513962 shown with dash and as grease-able.

In April 2018, Tenneco announced that they had purchased Federal-Mogul in a deal worth approximately US$5.4 billion.[21]

no dash part not in the catalog.  old dogs do new tricks! thanks,, nice to know this and is now here forever for others to see.

if really anal on grease or near north pole, ( today I am)
$20 tube but... runs super hot.350f  and -65F.  this is a great grease and may run on this car for decades,  so costs more now but saves bearings.

 Mobil SHC100  ,  is one.

Got it installed this weekend, I've got 2 spare wheel hubs so I'll make up another with the bearing FedMogul sent me so I'll be ready as I don't know how old the right  front is. have it on the shelf.

This was surely an interesting exercise.
