Timing Belt Replacement Issue...OMG!
#2
lots of parallax error in the photo top
but i can see the error in the photo, the notch and titty, error.
and can see its off 1/2 cog, this is wrong. (just a tad, it will run ok,, mostly)
but is wrong.

i own a TDC tool and can check TDC to 1/2 a degree.

if id had seen that, the bolt would be off and the key checked.

what if PO left out the key? and just put it on tight and prayed.? what PO's do is near infinite. worrisome.

here is what counts,
this photo i made shows this relation ship clearly

95

on some 95 the plate is fixed to the cog. (upgrade)

my guess is your crank has key damage, and is repaired poorly
my guess.
but it will run ok

the cam error is 1/2 the crank error, 2:1 gear (cog) ratio. it is.
so if cam is 5 degrees off the crank is 10 degrees off.
and is hidden form view this error, until, the crank cog bolt is removed
what you cant see with just the bolt off is true error, as the key slot is not to be seen until key is out in hand.
see why? the front of key is hidden, in crank snout.

note how only the key in the crank marks TRUE TDC. there is no end of shaft mark, sadly

if 10 degrees off
that means static dizzy timing is all a total lie. a wasted effort.
in fact the pulley timing marks are off 10 degrees.

usually its retarded 10% not advanced. do to natural forces
so the marks on rim would be 10 degrees retarded.
