ps. Do you have a write up on how to remove it? It looks buried behind fuses, cables and connectors! Electrical soup!

the kick memory is ROM and rom is not programmable ever. (masked rom or one time programmable, are fixed for life) old school puters.

John, I have the same issue with the coolant temperature ; as I see the title of this topic refers to timing , I will post on the other topic with dedicated title.

on many (most) the last digit is a bracket or box, and a number in the box.
[0] rev zero.
a classic case for this is the 89/90 years, huge numbers of variances ,just the last digit, including country. smog ratings.
suzuki has secret list of the stamped , numbers on the sides of the connector..
mitsubishi made it and the mother card (PCB) has its own secret list of codes. and firmware revisions.
