98 trackers all have G16b engines. (in usa and canada)
that parts fits all G16B suzuki MPI fuel rails.
is this tracker , with a different engine?
i have bought 2 and both fit.
it fits the front of rail, not rear.

to get that adapter i had to find the diameter and pitch of the tread, then found a match. 14mm x 1.5 1.5 pitch!!! and i measured it. with my pitch tool. id find a bolt that size and test the hole.?
btw, sometimes they send the wrong part in the bag, one time they sent me the adapter and the Chinese forgot to put thread there. have it as show and tell piece now.
id be shocked if the 1998 was different. here ill look that up now.
the 1998 has a new p/n for the rail and new mounting, method
but the front plug is same p/n from 1992 to 1988 (usa, canada) there are like 8 tracker markets, and i assume usa or canada.
maybe your rail is bad , someone put in SAE threaded object in this metric hole and cross threaded it? or?
id buy the real plug from suz, and try that. (some lug bolts 14mm x 1.5, one other test bolt)
Proof china does make craap... and person putting item in box, blind as a bat?
