PS Pressure Switch
#2
unpLugged is ok
as that opens the line to PS overload sensor switch
if grounded the ecu goes to fast idle mode, and never do you want or, AC, lamp glowing it too goes to fast idle, even with compressor missing !
if have read defogger, heater grid and rear window glass. ? it must be disabled for same reasons.

the PS pump with wheel (STEERED) IN TO STOPS CAN CAUSE HUGE LOAD ON THE ENGINE AND EVEN STALL IT IN SOME EXTREME CONDITIONS SO SUZ USED IDLE UP BUT IS USELESS HERE.

The timing static spark at distributor clamp can fail for a huge list of reasons. I will condense them below
1: above fast idle tripped all ways .
2: engine not hot, 180F is normal
3: ecu has and shows DTC errors, and this suspends idle controls
4: idle not at 800 rpm hot, 180f. and regulating , turn on fan and head lamps at same time see RPM hold at 800 (89./90 year not same rules) and RPM holds steady
5: ECU in limphome mode or worse BACKUP mode, cel lamp dead in latter. see #3
6: not using the timing freeze jumper.
7: idle switch in TPS not at 0v, , 5v is wrong !
