Yeah most of my cars are OBD I or no computer ( 84 Laser XE, 86 EXP, 94 Sidekick, 89 Mark VII, 78 Mark V, 70 Mustang, 72 Stingray, 81 Honda Civic, 1936 Cord 810, then 98 Mercury Grand Marquis, 2020 Volvo S60 T8 Polestar, and 2021 Lexus LC500 convert.) and diagnosing OBD1 or finding someone who remembers or knows is a PAIN! so THANK YOU for your help. That being said I found MAF from SKP, WalkerProducts, Cardone, Delphi, Beck/Arnley and WVE.  The tag on my sensor is 13800-58B00 (next line) E5T53071 4509. Ive heard of Cardone ( I sold auto parts for years, Napa, Advance, Pep Boys, AZ) which Ive had issues with and BECK and Delphi.. Any suggestions??

ecu reports only dead maf not weak .
explained
the ECU uses the MAF for all fuel mix calcultation
it also watches (DTC monitors live) f
for stuck high and dead
and stuck low and dead.
both will set the 2 matching DTC codes.

example, 1:
if the maf should read say 3v at 70 hp engine  power but is 2v you do not get that power level (it goes lean) but the ECU simply likes that wrong 2vdc level it is happy as a clam. (but not us ever)
'see?
I'd say now  today, any of those are good,  if not from China direct , nonames,  as those are all bad and $15 each the huge clue they are pure crap.
even used if it is promised by seller (ebay) as no DOA warranty.  down time can be very important to you.
I guess your maf is dead (volt text x2 tells that easy.
if dead try to find spare that is used or rebuilt. with that number on the side
13800-58B00 (next line) E5T53071 4509.this is ALL 100% suzuki coes, and the e number is makers number to suzuki.

the clones have no number at all or odd has heck.
cardone as you know is huge top USA rebuilder.  for MAF AND ECU ON THIS CAR.

NOT MANY OF these cars running now  so no rebuilder  wants to sell things for this car .

So what youre telliing me is I need a new MAF sensor. LOL
no, I was only saying to test it,  I'd not say it's bad lacking test data. (Volt meter) needle probe backprobing it finds this.
not me.

good luck fiix this car and there are very very few OBD2 cars on the road, now. well except your COLLECTION...
I am glad to help you,  I still remember it all , , even after being retired for 10 years.

The ECu trusts all outputs from the ECU blind unless those 2 dead  code DTC 33/34  hit and goes to limphome mode.
