Flat towing w/ auto hubs

I'm new here and really appreciate all the info this forum and site has. Thank you fixkick!

My recently acquired '93 Sidekick 4-door 1.6 16v 5-speed manual w/ auto hubs is going to be towed to Baja Sur in a couple months behind my friends truck. It's a four long days of driving.

My question is: Can I flat tow this vehicle with this set-up or do I need manual locking hubs? The google searches are inconclusive.

Thanks!

well for sure we don't want to wreck the bearing #43 in the tail shaft of the transfer box.
Your car is method A or C

method C is backwards towed, so it's "A " i'm sure.

or drop the rear  ENd of rear tail drive propeller shaft (4 bolts/nuts) and bailing wire it up, top. and tow it any distance and no damage ever.

also old cars like this, make sure the auto locking hubs in front are not SEIZED.  jack each front corner of car tire off ground, make sure when you spin the tire, the behind axles do not spin, or the hubs are shot.  or tow car with them removed..   (the manual states tow car backwards on dolly,  id remove the hubs.AUTO, or up grade to WARN manual hubs.

shows all ways possible. here. all 4 ways #4 is suzuki way. #1 is drop prop shaft rear.

the operators guide is here. 95, chapter 8 is towing.
