those bearings are not cheap. $50 a set...

thanks, i'm working on replacing next to everything. whole front end will be new here before long(just balljoints/tie rod ends after this), going to try to get everything all put together before winter comes around. struts/shocks up next. i'm looking forward to the bolts on the rear....(have a friend with an oxy/acetylene torch however) Wink

yeah, national bearings, $55 i think is what i paid?? replaced the drivers side some months ago, but it was making a little noise.

oh yeah, neat trick to getting ball joints to pop out of a spindle. get a jack under the a-arm and lift it, then just hit the spindle with a good sized hammer right where the ball joint goes through, and it pops right out.
