Greetings
96 JLX sport started running like hell the other day. Stopped at a shop and mechanic determined the third plug back from front was not firing. I did not have time for him to further diagnose. I ordered a new cop from amazon and failed to fix problem. Sent cop back and ordered another one from Rock auto. I've had good luck with Rock and hoped to get a better quality cop from them. I installed the cop and drove into town. Same problem, running bad, flashing check engine light, poor acceleration etc.
Now I'm thinking maybe it's a bad connector or wire. I need help figuring out how to go through proper steps to diagnose problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

PS I put in a new set of ngk plugs (old plugs did not look too bad)
