hey you're doing great, sounds like mine, and included all new brakes, cylinders, and MC.
i dont think the CKP can fail. its just a coil of wire unlike the CMP with hall driver electronics that died from heat. I bet any CMP can go a decade no issues.
ckp has 2 wires (not counting shield) it is only a Faraday simple coil.
did you unplug the ckp and run engine,? the 98 and older run , only misfire detection goes dead. but runs. (very unlike most cars made, )
so not stuck on the road dead, on them cpk dead.
most fail for dirt on end or connector damaged. (or some one cut the shield off the cable, dang so now picks up noise.)
hope your car runs lone, and happy, over 300k easy with good hoses. (no overheats)
